The Senior Technical Consultant will work on delivering best-of-class solutions that benefit customers. The position is suited for highly motivated and energetic individuals with a desire to work on delivering new products/product features. This position requires a highly skilled senior level consultant with Data Architecture and Integration, RDBMS and Java experience. The successful candidate will work in a wide variety of pre-sales and post-sales activities, including pre-sales due diligence, post-sales customer deployments and third-level customer support.

Your Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality customer solutions
- Develop logical and physical database schemas, stored procedures, interfaces (in Java or XML), and extensions to customer proprietary solutions
- Active participation in Designing new products and features
- Development of components or features as part of a development team
- Take the products/features through the full software development life cycle and deliver compelling customer experiences
- Mentor junior members in the team
- Help architects and management staff envision product direction
- Pro-actively review and ensure best design and implementation of features within the team
- Handle scoping, planning, internal and external dependencies for problems/cases that you own
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master Data Management (MDM) – functional and technical experience
- Data Integration (DI) – functional and technical experience
- 5+ years’ experience in programming/analysis/design/administration
- 5+ years’ experience with either Oracle and/or DB2/UDB/SQL Server
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL queries, PL/SQL
- Experience with capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning, and optimization skills especially with high volume databases (>300GB) and large, distributed J2EE applications
- Thorough understanding of data modeling, physical schema properties, triggers, and stored procedures
- Knowledge of data-warehousing/OLAP and ERP concepts and ETL tools
- 5+ years in a J2EE environment including experience with application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat and/or JBoss)
- Strong experience in SOAP/REST/XML
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring, analyzing, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting systems and system related technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to facilitate discussions and drive toward quick decisions
- Professional on-site customer integration experience, preferably with a large systems integration firm or for an enterprise software services arm
- Experience developing conceptual and physical solution architectures for solutions incorporating heterogeneous applications, technologies and platforms
- Experience designing and deploying in a Services Oriented Architecture and/or an Events Driven Architecture
- Ability to “think big” and grasp the overall picture, including the business drivers
- Must be able to solve problem outside your areas of expertise
- Willingness to travel 75%
Desirable
- Experience with UNIX and shell script programming
- Ability to automate administration tasks and administer security
- Experience with Linux /Solaris/HP/Windows/AIX Server administration
- General understanding of CRM and/or ERP packages (SAP, Oracle, Siebel and Peoplesoft)
- Experience with messaging software
- Experience in a Team Lead role with excellent Customer Service Experience or Delivery Team Leadership experience
